Bengaluru: Six persons accused of abducting and murdering a youth surrendered to Bommanahalli Police on Tuesday May 10 after returning from Tirupati.
The accused are identified as Prajwal, Himadri, Jeevan, Rakesh, Avinash and Sagar. The victim was Suhas (19), a resident of BTM layout. He was reported missing by his parents after he failed to return home post attending a friend’s wedding party on May 9. Six persons had abducted Suhas in an autorickshaw, and then they stabbed him to death, later disposing his body off in a deserted area in City outskirts.
One of ten six accused, Sagar who stayed back in to City surrendered to the police and confessed to the crime. Upon hearing that Sagar has surrendered, the five others too surrendered.
Police said that Prajwal had harboured enmity towards Suhas following a quarrel over a petty issue, and thus hatched a plan to kill Suhas with help of his friends.
