In a tragic incident in Bengaluru, a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus driver, Kiran Kumar, 40, suffered a fatal heart attack while driving on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 11 AM during his final route of the day, traveling from Nelamangala to Dasanapura.
CCTV footage captured the horrifying moment when Kumar suddenly collapsed forward and lost control of the bus. The vehicle struck another BMTC bus after he fell. Fortunately, the bus conductor, Obalesh, acted quickly, took control of the bus, and safely brought it to a stop, preventing further accidents. He then rushed Kumar to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
BMTC expressed its condolences in a statement, noting the untimely passing of Kiran Kumar and offering prayers for his soul. The corporation also extended its deepest sympathies to his family.
