Bengaluru: A heated argument between a BMTC bus staff and a motorcyclist led to traffic congestion at the Konanakunte Signal on Kanakapura Road. The altercation started when the biker confronted the driver for allegedly running a red light and obstructing traffic.

A viral video of the incident shows a chaotic scene with vehicles, including two-wheelers and the bus, stuck in gridlock. The biker, angered by the signal violation, approached the driver, leading to a verbal spat.

The clip, shared on X, was captioned: “Kalesh between a BMTC bus driver-conductor and a biker for allegedly jumping a signal at Konanakunte Signal on Kanakapura Road, Namma Bengaluru.”

Netizens reacted swiftly, with many saying such road confrontations are now routine in Bengaluru. One user commented, “Kalesh is a new normal in Karnataka… we see one every day!” Another criticized authorities, stating, “This is the failure of RTO and police. Bengaluru roads are no longer for decent people.”

This incident follows a recent road rage case in Koramangala, where two men on a bike vandalized a cab during peak traffic, kicking its windshield and trying to force open the door. The reason for that conflict remains unclear.
