Bengaluru: BMTC and KSRTC services may be disrupted today across the state as the employees are holding a protest, demanding the fulfilment of their various demands including salary revision.
According to the BMTC sources, around 3,000 crew of the BMTC will hold a protest at Shantinagar and is expected to affect the normal service. The KSRTC employees’ federation is organising protests in all the district headquarters which is also expected to affect the services.
Meanwhile, authorities from both the KSRTC and BMTC have informed that the protest will not have any impact on the services. “Additional crew will be used to operate the buses if the regular drivers fail to turn up,” said an officer from the BMTC.
