Bengaluru: In a heart-wrenching incident, a four-year-old toddler succumbed to burn injuries at the state-run Victoria hospital of the city after a pot of boiling sambar fell over him in his house on Tuesday.
According to the police, the deceased toddler is Vivek, son of Suresh, a worker in a juice shop in the city market area.
The family originally hails from Shivamogga, On Tuesday, when Vivek’s mother Asha was outside the house doing some daily chores, the wok in which she has cooked sambar fell on the toddler. Even though he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to injuries.
