Bengaluru: Janata Dal (Secular) state president H D Kumaraswamy fired a fresh salvo by stating that BJP president B S Yeddyurappa has all information about the Rs 1.97 crore cash seized in the Vidahana Soudha premises on October 21.
BSY knows from where the cash originated and to whom it was supposed to reach and if the BJP state president reveals the details, the truth will emerge, he said.
Clear details have not emerged after the seizure whether it was hawala money or meant to be handed over to a minister or official in the government. The cash seized by police was found in a Volkswagen car driven by an advocate named H M Siddharth who has refused to divulge any details on the huge amount after arrest.
Cash amounting to Rs 1.97 crore was seized by police near the west gate of Vidhana Soudha during their routine search operations.
