Bengaluru: Just before the floor test began, BS Yeddyurappa began the proceedings with an emotionally charged speech. At the end, he said that he was resigning from the post of Chief Minister.
After expressing his wish to resign, he said that he would work to help the BJP attain 28 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
BS Yeddyurappa added that he would be meeting the Governor, Vajubhai Vala to tender his resignation as Chief Minister, a position that he held for 2 days.
