Bengaluru: After the Karnataka ministers were assigned their portfolios late last evening, several reports have cropped up suggesting that the new ministers are not happy with the allocations.
It can be recalled that on August 26, all 17 ministers who were recently inducted into Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa’s, were allotted various portfolios. Three of the ministers viz. Govind M Karajol, C N Ashwath Narayan and Laxman Sangappa Savadi were named Deputy Chief Ministers.
Responding to the reports and rumours that the ministers are unhappy with their assigned ministries, CM BSY on Tuesday, August 27, rubbished the claims and assured that there is no difference of opinion.
Speaking to ANI after handing over charge as BJP state president to Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, BSY said that there is no difference in opinion among his ministers.
Earlier in the day, BJP leader Basavaraj Ingin had stated that there was dissent over the allocation of portfolios to the ministers in BSY’s Cabinet.
“The Cabinet has been crafted brilliantly. All political parties have to have the foresight to build themselves and the state. There is no dissent,” he said.
