Bengaluru: The state government has appointed C V Nagesh, a senior advocate from the city, as the special public prosecutor in the Mangaluru violence case.
He will argue for the state government and Mangaluru police in all cases that will be heard the High Court.
C V Nagesh is a well known advocate from the city. He has argued several high profile cases both in the High Court as well as the Supreme Court.
It can be recalled that two persons died and scores of people injured in the violence that broke out during anti-CAA protests in Mangaluru on December 19, 2019.
