Bengaluru: In a bizarre incident, a cab driver allegedly stole an architect’s cellphone and used it to harass his female colleagues. The incident has been reported from Bengaluru.

The architect, 57-year-old Sharath Raj, a resident of Nagawara in Bengaluru, claimed that his phone was stolen on January 16, after he got into an argument with a cabbie, Mithun (28), who hit his car. Sharath said that he had filed a complaint with the police, but at that time, an FIR was not registered.

In his complaint, he said that the incident occurred when he was travelling from Hebbal to Nagawara.

Disturbed by the fact that the cabbie allegedly used his phone to text the women in his contacts, he once again approached the Amruthahalli police station to register a case. The driver was traced and arrested by the police.
