Bengaluru: The seven-month-old B S Yediyurappa-led government’s first Cabinet expansion will be held today at 10.30 am. As many as 10 MLAs, who quit the JD(S) and Congress parties to join the BJP and were re-elected in the by-elections, will join the cabinet.
According to the list approved by Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala, S T Somasekar (Yeswanthpur), Ramesh Jarakiholi (Gokak), Anand Singh (Vijayanagara), Dr K Sudhakar (Chikkaballapura), B A Basavaraju (K R Puram), Shivaram Hebbar (Yellapur), B C Patil (Hirekerur), K Gopalaiah (Mahalakshmi Layout), Narayan Gowda (KR Pet), and Srimantha Patil (Kagawad) are joining the Cabinet today.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the glass house of the Raj Bhavan.
