Bengaluru: Campaign for the Lok Sabha election will conclude in 14 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state today at 6 pm. These constituencies will go for voting on April 18.
The constituencies, which will go for voting on April 18 include Dakshina Kannada, Udupi- Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Chitradurga, Tumakuru, Mandya, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Bengaluru- South, Bengaluru-North, Bengaluru-Central, Bengaluru- Rural, Chikkaballapura and Kolar.
As per the Model Code of Conduct, the leaders from outside need to vacate these constituencies, but the door to door campaign is allowed.
The election commission has made elaborate arrangements to ensure that cash and liquor will not flow 48 hours before the voting for the distribution.
