Bengaluru: Rachana Hanumantha and Jagrut, among candidates aspiring for the post of Police Sub-Inspector (PSI), who are named in the FIR lodged at High Grounds Police Station here in connection with the PSI recruitment scam, have approached the High Court (HC) urging quashing of the case against them.
Police has filed an FIR against 10 including the duo who have approached the HC. Rachana and Jagrut’s petitions came up before the Vacation Bench of the High Court on Thursday May 5. The petitions would be heard on May 19.
Further, the police has arrested around 30 people in connection with the scam apart from annulment of examination leading to conducting of fresh exam.
