Bengaluru: A case involving love, sex, and fraud has been registered against Ranganath, the son of BJP MP Devendrappa from Bellary, Karnataka. A fraud complaint has been lodged by a young woman based in Bengaluru, accusing Ranganath, who works as a lecturer at Maharaja College in Mysore, of deceiving her into believing that they were heading towards marriage.
The complaint states that Ranganath and the woman met at a party around a year and a half ago, and later engaged in sexual relations at a hotel in Mysore. However, the woman, who initially believed marriage was in their future, is now expressing hesitation.
In connection with the case, notices have been issued to both Ranganath and the woman by the Basavanagudi Women’s Police Station in Bengaluru. Ranganath has been summoned for a hearing, while the young woman has been asked to appear at the police station with relevant documents for further investigation.
