Meanwhile, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has cancelled bus services to Mysuru, Mandya, Kollegal and Chamarajnagar due to the protest by farmers in Mandya. Various Kannada organizations, including Cauvery Hitharakshana Samithi, led by former MP G Made Gowda, have given a call for Mandya bandh today (Tuesday) protesting against release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. According to a report, some miscreants in Tamil Nadu pelted stones on KSRTC’s Rajahamsa bus and some vehicles bearing Karnataka registration numbers.
