Bengaluru: Metro passengers travelling from Majestic to Baiyappanahalli witnessed chaos when the frequency of train services was reduced at the Kempegowda Majestic Metro Station on Friday, September 22.
Usually, inconvenience during peak hours, the BMRCL operates trains at the frequency of 3.5 minutes, but since Friday was a holiday, the frequency was reduced to 5 minutes, although passengers have alleged that the trains came after gaps of seven to eight minutes.
Because of this, passengers were left stranded as the platforms were crowded and fully occupied, some were even forced to stand on staircases, causing inconvenience.
