Bengaluru: As many as 40 passengers who were travelling in a private bus, miraculously escaped when the bus caught fire in Shoolagiri near Hosur of Tamil Nadu. The bus was plying from Bengaluru to Chennai.
According to the Shoolagiri police, the incident was reported at around 4 AM on Thursday, May 9.
“The other vehicle drivers saw the smoke and alerted the bus crew, who in turn stopped the bus on the roadside and evacuated all the passengers. The luggage of most of the passengers was destroyed,” added police.
The passengers were sent in other buses to their destination.
