Chikkaballapura: Three officers had a miraculous escape on Thursday November 3 when a Bolero vehicle carrying goods collided with a car amid a procession of Kempegowda’s chariot at Bommanahalli Gate in the taluk.
CDPO Nautaj, Assistant CDPO Mahesh, BCM offiycer Narayanappa and the driver of the car escaped unhurt.
The incident took place when the Kempegowda chariot procession was on its way to Devaramallaru Gram Panchayat from Vaihusanahalli Gram Panchayat in the Taluk when the officials’ car was taking a turn near Bommanahalli Gaye to Devaramallur Gram Panchayat. It was then the car was hit by a Bolero goods vehicle coming from Chintamani side at high speed and carelessness, it is alleged.
The car has been completely destroyed. The life of the driver is in danger. In total, three officers escaped unhurt in the road accident.
