Chikkaballapur: “If people vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate B N Bache Gowda because he is from the Vokkaliga community, then it would affect the state coalition headed by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy who also belongs to the same community”, said Veerappa Moily, Congress Lok Sabha candidate from the district, here on Monday, March 25.
Before filing his nomination with the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Returning Officer Anirudh Sravan, he said, “The Janata Dal (S) party workers must vote for the coalition candidate keeping in mind CM HDK and not vote based on caste and community.”
He was accompanied by State Agriculture Minister N H Shiva Shankar Reddy, MLAs M T B Nagaraj, Dr. K Sudhakar, Nisarga Narayana Swamy, Venkataramanaiah and S S Subba Reddy.
