Chitradurga: An 18-year-old young woman committed suicide by jumping into the Doddakere Lake in the morning of Saturday October 22.
The deceased has been identified as Ramya of Heggere Village. She was working in her relative’s house in Brahmasagara. The young woman had stated that she would return to her town on Saturday morning but jumped into Doddakere lake.
The bystanders tried to save the young woman after they saw her jumping into the lake but it was too late. The people around were appalled to see the young woman plunge into the lake.
