Bengaluru: RMC Yard police arrested 12 transgenders following a clash between two gangs that broke out over the dispute on the sharing of the Deepavali money collected via begging.

According to the police, all these 12 arrested belong to the Sumithra gang of Magadi road. These gang members allegedly attacked Ashamma, the head of another group.

It is said that Sumithra and Ashamma had formed a group called Bengaluru Transgenders Group. But they separated over trivial issues. This led to gang war when both the gangs started dividing the money collected for Deepavali.
