Bengaluru: Owing to a clash with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main dates, the II PU exams have been postponed. According to the new draft timetable, the II PU exams will commence on April 22.
Session 1 of JEE Main is scheduled from April 16-21, and II PU exams were supposed to begin from April 16 as well.
The PU department stated that students should not be inconvenienced, and a new draft timetable was released. It has asked for public objections before March 5.
Officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Tuesday March 1 that the JEE-Mains first phase will be held in April and the second phase in May. The engineering entrance exam will be held in two phases, the first from April 16 to 21 and the second from May 24 to 29.
In light of the Covid – 19 situation, the PU department and the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board have stated that there will be no minimum attendance to appear for the exams.
