Bengaluru: Political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh has made Karnataka too the talking point. While references are being made to Karnataka-style politics being replayed in Madhya Pradesh, a few Madhya Pradesh rebel MLAs are reportedly in Karnataka.
If sources are to be believed, then BJP national leadership has reportedly asked CM BS Yediyurappa and home minister Basavaraj Bommai to provide protection to Congress rebel MLAs from Madhya Pradesh who are staying in a city resort.
Party deputed Mahadevapura MLA Aravind Limbavali to coordinate between the rebel MLAs and the police for the security purposes.
According to the sources, Madhya Pradesh rebel MLAs have chosen a resort in Whitefield in Bengaluru.
“The MLAs were flown to Bengaluru only after bringing the issue to the notice of CM BS Yediyurappa and home minister Basavaraj Bommai. It is definitely an Operation Kamala,” informed a BJP legislator.
