Bengaluru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has been on a roll lately, responding to the state’s people’s issues promptly. On Thursday, August 1, the new CM helped a woman ailing from heart problems, get the treatment she needed.
When CM BSY stepped out of his residence on Thursday, a woman was waiting for him at his gate to express her issues. As soon as he came out, the woman approached him and said that she was ailing from heart disease and did not have the financial strength to get the required treatment. Responding to her request, he directed the concerned officials to grant her a cheque for Rs 1 lakh.
It can be recalled that recently, during a temple visit in Mandya, CM BSY had directed the deputy commissioner to release the pending funds under the differently-abled scheme to a helpless widow’s son upon her request.
