Bengaluru: In a big embarrassment to the JDS and the Congress, CM HD Kumaraswamy and housing minister, Congress leader MTB Nagaraj had a battle of words during an event, hinting that the coalition partners are in fact in an incompatible relationship!
Ramanagara district administration had arranged foundation stone laying ceremony of various projects at Channapatna on Saturday evening. CM HD Kumaraswamy, major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar, MP DK Suresh, housing minister MTB Nagaraja and others were present.
In his speech, MTB Nagaraj openly stated that in this budget his department received very less allocation. “The applications seeking financial support for the house construction is huge. How can I manage the department with meagre allocation,” he questioned.
In his speech, CM HDK hit out at MTB Nagaraja saying as he is the first time minister, he doesn’t know how the government functions. “These issues should have been raised at the cabinet meeting, but the minister doesn’t know where issues should be discussed. He doesn’t know my difficulties,” he said.
Later, DKShi intervened and resolved the matter.
