Bengaluru: Sakleshpura MLA H. K. Kumaraswamy announced on Friday April 15 that he will resign as JD (S) State President on April 17.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “On the same day, C. M. Ibrahim will take over as the next President.”
He said that he will make ways to strengthen the party.
“Party leaders H. D. Deve Gowda and H. D. Kumaraswamy have already spoken to me about this. I am willing to make whatever sacrifice to help the party develop,” he explained.
“As the Assembly elections near, I should focus on my constituency. Ibrahim will have my full cooperation,” he said.
