CM releases Rs 200 Cr for disaster relief in the state, DK gets Rs 50 Cr

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Kumaraswamy on August 16, released Rs 50 Crore to Dakshina Kannada for providing disaster relief to the victims of the heavy rain that lashed the district.

The CM decided to release the amount after holding a meeting with Revenue Minister R V Deshpande, Dakshina Kannada District In-charge Minister U T Khader and Kodagu District In-charge Minister Sara Mahesh.

The CM also directed the officials to release Rs 200 crores for disaster management in various districts in the state.
