A worker at a well-known Bengaluru café was savagely attacked on Thursday evening after he declined to give an additional coffee cup to a patron. Surveillance cameras installed inside the establishment documented the full episode.

The violence unfolded around 6:50 PM at Namma Filter Coffee, located in Seshadripuram. A group of customers who had already bought coffee insisted on receiving another empty cup. When the employee explained that the outlet’s rules prohibited offering extra cups without purchase and advised them to buy an additional coffee, they began hurling verbal abuse at him.

The situation escalated quickly. One man struck the staff member on the head, followed by punches to his face and repeated kicks to his abdomen. The CCTV footage clearly shows the victim attempting to shield himself from the assault but ultimately being overpowered by the group.

Other employees and bystanders tried to intervene but were unable to prevent the attackers from inflicting injuries. After the assailants left the premises, the injured worker was given first aid, and management promptly reported the matter to authorities.

A formal complaint has been lodged at Seshadripuram Police Station. Law enforcement officials have begun examining the footage and collecting witness statements. Further inquiry into the incident is in progress, and efforts are being made to identify and apprehend the culprits involved in the violent confrontation.
