Bengaluru: In a novel gesture, KPCC working president Satish Jarakiholi has offered his farm house in Aladala village in Hukkeri taluk for the quarantine of the migrants from Mumbai.
It can be recalled that thousands of natives of Belagavi staying in Mumbai have returned to their villages following the corona outbreak.
With the influx, the district administration is struggling to provide quarantine facility.
According to the authorities, now Satish Jarakiholi has asked the district administration to use his farm house for the quarantine facility.
“Beside this, he is also supplying food for over 1,000 persons who are in quarantine,” added sources close to him.
His gesture has won him appreciation from various quarters and the netizens are asking elected representatives to follow his footsteps.
