Bengaluru: The Karnataka Congress mocked BJP state president and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for stating that he has “completed rounds in 31 districts of the state” and is “now in the 32nd one, Yadgir.”
Taking to Twitter, the Congress party through its official handle “Karnataka Congress” wrote, “@nalinkateel, are there 32 districts in the state? Being a parliamentarian and BJP state president, you don’t even have the basic general knowledge as to how many districts the state has. We recommend you to read the school text books and improve your basic knowledge.”

Earlier, Kateel, while addressing the media in the Yadgir district, had said that the BJP was active in conducting a march throughout the district and that he had visited Yadgir and Raichur in this regard.
He had said that he was in the 32nd district, after having visited the other 31 districts.
Karnataka, as of now, comprises 30 districts.
