Congress corporator breathes her last in Tirupati

Bengaluru: Congress corporator representing Binnypet ward of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), died of cardiac problems in the renowned temple town Tirupati on January 23.

Mahadevamma, representing BBMP Ward no.121 had gone to Tirupati along with her family members to visit the temple.

She complained of chest pain while returning from the “Darshan” of the famous deity this morning. Her relatives rushed her to a nearby hospital immediately but she breathed her last on the way to the hospital.

The body of the deceased has already been sent to Bengaluru. BBMP Mayor, Commissioner and corporators barring political affiliations, expressed shock and grief over her sudden demise.
