Bengaluru: With the threat of ‘operation Kamala’ looming large, the Congress has reportedly chalked out ways to combat the same. As per sources, the coalition government at the state is contemplating over removing four ministers from the cabinet and handing over the portfolio to four rebel MLAs, in a desperate bid to firefight.

Congress rebel MLAs Bheema Naika, Prathap Gowda Patil, B Nagendra and independent MLA are likely to get the portfolios meant to be given away to suppress rebellion activities. The high command has been communicated about the same. Meanwhile, the JDS party workers have picketed the residence of Malleshwaram MLA Ashwathnarayan, who has reportedly supported the BJP’s Operation Kamala by taking Congress MLAs to Mumbai.

The JDS workers are angry that the BJP is trying to topple the coalition government that has been working for the state with all sincerity. While the Congress is doing all that it takes to save the government, the JDS is also reportedly sharpening its knives to give a befitting reply to Operation Kamala, in the form of ‘Operation Dala’.

Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has already said that he is in touch with some of the BJP MLAs and that he is in a position to give an answer to the Operation Kamala of the BJP. It is also said that CM HDK has kept close tabs on the BJP MLAs housed in a resort in Haryana.

The political scenes unfurling in Karnataka is turning unpredictable and only time will say, what holds in store for the state in future.
