Congress MLA Umesh Jadhav to resign on Monday

Bengaluru: Chincholi Congress MLA Umesh Jadhav is resigning from the MLA post on Monday.

He will submit his resignation to Assembly Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar.

Speaking to the reporters at Kalaburugi, Ramachandra Jadhav confirmed the developments. “My brother will join the BJP and contest from the Kalaburagi Lok Sabha constituency,” he said.

According to the sources, Jadhav will be the BJP candidate from the Chincholi constituency when the by-election will be held.

It can be recalled that Jadhav’s name was floated as one of the beneficiaries of Operation Kamala.

Jadhav who is not attending the CLP meet since last four months was identified with Ramesh Jarakiholi group.
