Bengaluru: A couple was arrested on charges of assaulting a policeman on duty on Tuesday late night, August 3.
The arrested are Jessy and Prashanth.
According to police, the couple who were in a bike fell down near BRV junction after losing control over their vehicle. The policeman, who was placed nearby, rushed to the couple and offered help. The couple in return attacked the policeman.
Preliminary reports said that the couple was drunk and assaulted police in an inebriated state.
Commercial street police are investigating the case.
