Bengaluru: The Covid – 19 has been on the rise in the State, and Technical Advisory Committee had recommended the State Government to make mask compulsory and take other necessary precautions which has prompted the Government to issue new guidelines.
The new guidelines issued by the Government has made wearing of masks compulsory in closed spaces as well as public areas that includes shopping malls, cinema halls, restaurants, offices, public transport and educational institutions among others. The people have asked to wear masks in private vehicles too.
The eligible persons have also been urged to take precautionary vaccine doses.
Meanwhile, teh State has reported 525 new Covid cases, with positivity rate reaching 2.31 percent.
