Bengaluru: All these days, the  city’s government agencies were confident of handling the COVID 19 outbreak as it was found that the symptomatic patients are less than 10% among the total positive cases. But in an ominous omen, the number of symptomatic patients to the total posts is now rising. This is expected to increase the pressure on the health infrastructure.

According to the data available, 35.5% of the patients who have tested positive are now symptomatic. It was less than 10% at the end of June.

“The symptomatic patients need more care and a majority of them will be shifted to a COVID 19 care facility. This is a worrying trend though,” said sources in the state health department.
