Covid-19 Scare: COMEDK defers UGET again; Exam to be held on July 25

Bengaluru: For the second time, the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) has rescheduled it’s Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) date. With no relief from the COVID 19 scare, the organization decided to postpone UGET scheduled for June 27, to July 25.

Originally the COMEDK UGET was scheduled on May 10. However, it was postponed due to the COVID 19 related lockdown. Now again the consortium has postponed the examination date.

According to COMEDK Executive Secretary S Kumar, the examination has been rescheduled at the request of the student fraternity. As per the new COMED-K notification, those candidates who have missed out on applying to the COMEDK exam can now apply from 12.00 Noon of 14.06.2020 to 05.00 PM of 17.06.2020 on COMEDK website.

“Edit facility will be provided from 05.00 PM of 18.06.2020 till 05.00 PM of 21.06.2020 to update test city preference, photo upload & academic details. New test cities are included and candidates can choose from the list available. However, allotment of test center & city is subject to availability, and COMEDK reserves the right to allot any other test city other than the city chosen by the candidate,” stated in the notification.
