Covid-19: Seven districts in state made into two units to boost economic activities

Bengaluru: Keeping in mind facilitating the economic activities to improve the economic scenario, seven districts across the state have been merged into two units.

Within these units, one can travel without any interruption between 7 am and 7 pm.

The first unit consists five districts i.e. Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Ramanagar, Kolar and Chikkaballapura.

Vehicles and people can travel without any obstructions within these five districts. There will not be any curbs on the inter-district movement.

The second unit is undivided Dakshina Kannada district. Under this unit Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts are included.

“Only ID cards are enough to travel in these units,” added authorities.

“But people shall not move unneceessarily,” appealed CM BS Yediyurappa.
