Bengaluru: The State Government has increased the Covid – 19 vaccine service charges in the private hospitals.

The service charge increased from Rs.100 fixed by the Central Government to Rs. 200 per dose. The private hospitals sought Rs. 300 increase per dose. However, the state government has agreed for Rs.200.

As expected this decision has not gone down well with the experts who slammed the government decision. They pointed out that this increase will add to the burden of the people while a super profit for the private hospitals, they alleged.
