Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shiva Kumar has firmly denied allegations made against him by Nisha Yogeshwar. The claims emerged following C.P. Yogeshwar’s nomination as the Congress candidate for the Chanapatna Assembly by-election, during which Nisha asserted that the accusations circulating on social media are baseless.

Nisha’s remarks were communicated through media advisors for Shivakumar, who previously met her before the last Lok Sabha elections at Kumarakripa. During that meeting, he expressed a desire to remain uninvolved in any disputes between her and her father, suggesting that they resolve their issues independently.

In a video statement, Nisha challenged Shivakumar, saying, “Mr. D.K. Shivakumar, if you have my CD, please release it boldly. You have used it to blackmail my father and brought him into the Congress party, as reported by a private YouTube channel. You need to clarify this matter.”

Shivakumar’s office has reiterated that the allegations are entirely false and that he is not involved in the situation between Nisha and her father. The political landscape in Karnataka continues to evolve with these developments, highlighting the tensions within the Congress party.
