Davanagere: Wild animals kept as pets rescued from farmhouse

Davanagere: The Karnataka Forest Department has rescued several wild animals that were being kept as pets in a farmhouse that belonged to a senior politician.

According to sources, there were found 11 blackbucks, 8 spotted deer, 7 wild boars, 3 mongooses, and 2 jackals in the farmhouse behind a rice mill at Anekonda here.

A case has been filed against four accused.

Further investigation is on.
