Davanagere: A doctor is driving the attention of the public by scribbling “Harassed by the IAS officer’s misule” on the back of the auto.

Dr. MH Ravindranath of Mahalakshmi Layout near Kundavada has gone on to running an auto for his livelihood because of the suspension by the authority. The doctor alleged IAS lobby is behind his suspension and nonpayment of salary.

Doctor mentioned that when he was serving at RCAH, Bellary, then CEO, DR. KV Rajendra, IAS, referred one of his classmates for the appointment. But the doc refused it saying it is against the appointment procedure.

“He plotted propaganda against me. I suspended on June 6, 2019, in relation to the tender technical bid evaluation when I was District Vaccine Officer at Bellary District Health and Family Department. The mistake committed by a clerk at the Zilla Panchayat office, and it has intentionally put on me,” Dr Ravindranath is quoted in Vijaya Karnataka Kannada news daily.

“Four days after the suspension, I submitted all documents to the KAT of Belgaum. The verdict came in my favor. I was then assigned to a taluk hospital at Sedam in Kalaburagi district. Back in December, I went back to KAT. The verdict came in January 2020, but top officials had not assigned me a district-level post”, he alleged.

“The court has given the verdict twice in my favor, but I was not given postings. They are asking for a bribe. I am fed up with these officers and started driving the auto for my livelihood. Having 24 years of service, I should be given the district-level assignment as per the court decision. I went back to court and filed a case of judicial abuse against officers.” furiously said, Dr. Ravindranath.
