Davanagere/Mysuru: National-level wrestler Vikas Gowda passed away on August 1 evening at the SS Hi-Tech Hospital, Davanagere due to illness.
Vikas, a resident of Seethapura Village in Mysuru, was admitted to the hospital after he complained of back pain. He was undergoing wrestling training at the Sports Hostel in Davanagere.
As per reports, Vikas failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last.
