Bengaluru: Amid the lockdown and Covid 19 crisis, the BJP state unit leaders have allegedly started talking about ‘Operation Kamala 2.0’. Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwath Narayan has hinted that it may happen at any time.
Speaking to reporters in the city, he pointed out that many legislators from the JD(S) and Congress are ready to join the BJP’s fold as both the parties don’t have any future.
Meanwhile, in Chamarajanagar, Major Irrigation minister Ramesh Jarakiholi informed that 20 MLAs from the JD(S) and Congress are ready to join the BJP at any time. “I can present five of them in front of the CM within a few minutes,” he said.
The statements of these leaders come amidst reports that a few BJP MLAs are trying to use pressure tactics to get a ministerial berth in BSY’s Cabinet.
