Delay in flood relief: Former CM Siddaramaiah calls K’taka MPs ‘Uttara Kumaras’

Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has launched yet another scathing attack on the Centre for rejecting the report of the state government on flood damages.

In a series of tweets posted on Friday, the former CM questioned CM BS Yediyurappa as to why the in-fight in the BJP was killing the state?

“The Narendra Modi government does not have the capability to provide relief to the state and you do not have the capability to send a report seeking judicious relief. Your government is both economically as well as morally bankrupt and you do not have the right to remain in power” he said, pressing for CM BSY’s resignation.

He further said that it was difficult to tolerate how the people of the state are being cheated by the centre. Calling upon the CM to carry on the flood relief work efficiently, the former CM billed off the 25 MPs of the state as ‘Uttara Kumaras”, a cowardly character that features in the Indian epic ‘Mahabharatha’.
