Bengaluru: Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal will be in the Garden City for a throat surgery scheduled on September 13. He is expected to stay in the city for two weeks.
According to sources, Kejriwal will be operated for a long persisting problem of cough and phlegm. The surgery will keep him off the Punjab assembly election as he is expected to recuperate for ten days.
Kejriwal will visit Punjab for four days and then leave to Bengaluru. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will be in charge of the government at Delhi in Kejriwal’s absence.
This is not Kejrwal’s first visit to Bengaluru, as he was at Jindal Naturopathy Centre last year and underwent treatment for ten days.
