Bengaluru: With the election dates being announced, all the political parties have pulled up their socks. However, if sources are to be believed then two prominent leaders of the BJP have resorted to fighting in front of the party leaders, fueling trouble.
It is said that former DCM R Ashok and former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu fought over the issue of getting two ousted BJP members back into the party polls. The fight took place in front of party’s state in-charge for LS polls Muralidhar Rao.
It may be recalled that Sampangi Ramanagar former corporator Gopi and independent candidate Saravana were ousted from the BJP for carrying out anti-party activities and now it is believed that R Ashok is trying his level best to bring the two back into the party folds. Katta Subramanya Naidu has raised objections to the same claiming that the two ousted members from Shivajinagar had cheated the party. He said that these are the people who waved footwear at BJP National President Amit Shah when the latter had come to Shivajinagar and after this episode they were shown the door.
However, when Rao tried to convince the two leaders, they did not relent and then Rao cancelled the election meets scheduled to be held in Ramanagar and Govindarajanagar.
