Bengaluru: The Congress party meeting which was held at the KPCC office on Saturday, September 1, witnessed veiled differences between Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara and KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao.
Parameshwara had skipped an important meeting held for the Congress party leaders and had gone to Tumkur to inaugurate a classroom of medical students at Siddartha Educational Institution.
Reportedly, during the meeting, Rao wanted to make some changes in the Congress Block Committee members, citing that they were inefficient, a point with which G Parmeshwara disagreed.
It is said that Parameshwara abstained from this meeting anticipating that Rao might openly talk about the inefficiency of the Congress Block Committee.
