Director Yogaraj Bhat Booked After Tragic Accident on Film Set

Bengaluru: A tragic incident occurred on Thursday during the filming of the movie Manada Kadalu in Bengaluru. Shivraj, a 30-year-old light boy, fell from a 30-foot high ladder and succumbed to his injuries.

The accident took place near VRL Arena under the jurisdiction of Madanayakanahalli Police Station. Shivraj, a resident of Koratagere in Tumkur district, was working as a light boy on the film set.

The Madanayakanahalli police have registered an FIR against director Yogaraj Bhat and manager Suresh for failing to implement necessary precautionary measures during the shooting. The police are investigating the incident.

Shivraj and his brother lived in a locality in Bangalore city and worked as light boys in the film industry. This incident underscores the critical need for enforcing safety measures on film sets to prevent such tragic accidents.
