Disqualified MLA K Sudhakar resigns from KSPCB chairman’s post

Bengaluru: K Sudhakar, one of the 17 disqualified MLAs resigned from the post of KSPCB chairman after the central election commission announced the schedule for the by-election of 15 constituencies.

Meanwhile, Dr K Sudhakar who was elected from Chikkaballapura in the 2018 assembly election expressed confidence that the Supreme Court will issue a stay order to the by-election announced for the 15 constituencies by the central election commission.

Speaking to the reporters after the election commission announced dates for the by-election, Dr Sudkahar stated that their petition is coming up for hearing on Monday.

“We are confident that the SC will order a stay on this by-election notification,” he said. “The then speaker KR Ramesh Kumar has done big injustice to all of us. We will fight in the court,” he stated
